      Our company can be proud of multiyear experience and rich traditions. 
The company's history is uninterruptedly connected with the past of the city, Wielkopolska (Great Poland) Region and the Country.
The company's origin goes back as far as the years 1911-1912. They produced the cigar boxes then, while the original factory's name was "Zigarrenkisten Fabrik".
Since 1919 the factory had started to produce plywood, based on alder and birch raw materials as well as albumin and casein glues. Till the year 1939 the plant had been handed over to several Dutch-German and Polish owners. The plant also produced plywood during the Nazi occupation.
After the 2nd World War the plant was nationalised. In the years 1945-1946, after the major repairs of the buildings and overhaul of machines had been done, the plant started production of plywood boards.
In the period of 1958-1968 the first major modernisation of the plant had been carried out, in result of which we achieved improvement in products quality, increase in productivity and production capacity. Great amounts of wastes arising during the production of flat- pressed and profile plywood caused searching for new solutions. The effect was construction of flat-pressed chipboard technological line which was under operation till 1990. In the successive years modernisation of machines, buildings and technical equipment was carried out.
The dominating production assortment was waterproof plywood, produced since 1974 with the use of phenol resin. Production of coated plywood for the purposes of railway engineering in 1975. After introduction of mechanised plywood loading into presses, technology of plywood pre-pressing was implemented, both for urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive and phenolic adhesive. The consecutive years brought widening of production assortment by waterproof plywood, based on melamine resin Melmo SM, developed by the Wood Processing Technology Institute in Poznań. 
The social-political and economic changes started in 1989 caused that the first concepts of privatisation were already established in 1990. In March 1991 the Joint Stock Company is being established under the name: 'Wielkopolskie Zakłady Sklejek SKLEJKA-EKO S.A.' (SKLEJKA-EKO S.A. Plywood Works of Wielkopolska) and the company hands over for payable usage the state enterprise's property being liquidated.
The company's authorities, employing the experienced technical staff, emphasised on further product quality improvement and widening of plywood export.
The following modernisations of technological lines and machines allowed to extend the commercial offer by a larger number of sizes, besides it, we started production of spring-type strips for upholstery furniture.
The company's historical background is a typical example of evolution and modernisation-investment kind of wood processing enterprise which grew up from the relatively small production plant, of primitive wood processing technology, into its present form - large-sized works of complicated and complex technology.
On 20th April 2001 the last stock capital instalment, including the interests, was paid into the State Treasury. Formally, since 1st April 2001 the whole property and premises perpetual usufruct rights are the Company's ownership.

There are well equip and own Quality Control Laboratory in our firm. We make testing, among other things, like:

• measurement of plywood density
• testing of formaldehyd contents
• testing of gluing quality (IF20, A100, AW100, WBP, up to the PN-EN 314-1, PN-EN 314-2)
• and other
